Just found El Diablo Suelto in a record store in eastern city of Maturín this afternoon. Sadly see that here is not the famous Natalia waltz (or # 3 after his daughter; well all his most felt waltzes are named after his daughters) by the late Antoio Lauro. This is the quintessential guitar piece. Had it in a 70's vinyl of Alirio Díaz which I have not seen again: it was a "silver" color bootleg that included the Concert for Aranjuez by Joaquin de Rodrigo. Lauro's waltzes are a much obligued reference for guitar masters. Hope to hear you play it sometime in a very righteous record sague to this most delightful and sabrosísimo El Diablo Suelto.

Best regards from El Tigre, Venezuela.

JW has recorded Natalia before - on the 'Spirit of the Guitar' CD. It appears on two earlier LPs as Vals Criollo.

As to Lauro naming pieces after his daughters - Maria Carolina, Tatiana and Andreina were nieces, El Negrito his son (also missing off El Diablo Suelto though recorded before), Maria Luisa and La Gatica both his wife.

Natalia Lauro performed with her father in London in the late 80s, a concert which JW helped arrange.

BTW - Lauro's appearance at London's Wigmore Hall was in 1980 - he died in 1986.
