Hi,

One of Sky's tracks was used for the theme tune for a TV programme in the 80's called "Making Waves", which was about sailing.

I can't remember the name of the track.

Does anyone remember the name?

Thanks

Was it 'A Girl in Winter' from the sixth album Cadmium?
I remember this track accompanying images of a sailing boat, but not the name of the programme.

Hi guy's here's another one, you all know the middle melodic section from sahar (sky3) with the nice lillting lead guitar line (you know the dream'e float'e bit).

well again mid to late 80's this bit of music was used on both the bbc holiday program as a background sound scape to various holiday reports from the med and also it was used as a back ground sound to some of the thommas cook adverts of the time.

And while we are on the subject around mid 80's, bbc's songs of praise featured an inter viewe with some young pianist who was sat in his living room who talked to camera for a bit then was seen playing the piano (sight readding) the difficut section of where opposits meet with the album playing in the back ground, nice one chaps.

By the way it was also the section from sahara that was used for the making waves program, as I watched it when it was first broadcast.

All Sky 1 was used on a BBC programme I only saw once and never again and it fitted perfectly.

It was Great Railway Journeys of the World Peth - Sydney? Anyhow it was all across Australia and was shown circa 1981ish from memory. Never ever been able to find a copy.
