Hello, i was wondering if anyone can help... I have been trying to find a Sky song, which I have attempted to do without buying all hundreds of albums! My Dad used to have a Sky LP and used to play us this particular track (would have been in the early 80s) I also remember my music teacher playing it to me to when I was about 5. Since then my Dad has given away all his LPs. As I remember, the song starts with an acoustic guitar playing about 4 simple notes which repeats for a while.. and then about half way through an electric guitar kicks in and there is this enormous crescendo. Its quite a melancholic/sad sounding song.. but maybe they're all like that! Any ideas what song /album??! Do you know of anywhere that i can listen on the net to Sky songs?
Thank you!

I suspect the track is "Keep me safe and keep me warm, shelter me from darkness" from the Sky 3 album. It lasts less than a minute. Sky only made 8 albums, but there have been various CD mixes. You're unlikely to find streaming sources on the net. There are P2P sources. Email me.

Try Carillon on the original Sky album.
