I'm very happy right now!
Remember in another thread somewhere I was going on about having seen the gatefold version of 'sky' about twenty five years ago and regretting the fact that I never bought it at the time?
Well... After a quarter of a century (or more!) I've finally got it!
A few days after I mentioned it, I checked eBay and...there it was! And now...here it is!!!
The cover is exactly as the UK version, except that the text and pic on the UK inner sleeve are now reproduced over the central gatefold - credits and sky silhouettes on the left, photo and biogs on the right. The album was pressed in France and is on the ARABELLA EURODISC label. The record labels are a pale blue, not the illustrated labels as per the UK version.
I can't tell you how pleased I am to have it at last! It's in pretty good condition, given its age, and it cost me far, far less than I would have actually been willing to pay! So, at last, my sky record collection is complete!
(If the guys do ever get back together for that unlikely reunion gig, I shall take it along and try to get it signed!)

Wish I knew how to, Mike!!!
I'd have to scan it or take a photo of it first and I can't do either at the moment. So, looks like you'll have to be content with my description, for the time being. Sorry! |
