Adrian (and anyone else who is interested),

Received this email from Steve Gray in response to your KP3 question. I will include it in its entirety.

Chris.

Hi Chris

I can't post on the forum, being unregistered and Richard is not
responding to e-mails. I wrote the following reply to Adrian about KP3
and I wonder if you might be good enough to get it onto the forum for
me. Hope it's not a lumber.

Thanks a lot

Steve

Hello Adrian

Kevin might have written KP3 but we never played it. He just brought
along a load of music from time to time and chose what he fancied for us
to perform.

The habit of titling pieces KP1, KP2 etc comes from library (production)
music. The library decides the eventual title of the piece so all the
composer ever bothers with is initials and an ID number. As Kevin is
perfectly capable of coming up with good titles perhaps this labelling
of his compositions was an example of his ironic humour. He went back to
titling when Herbie turned up with a piece called KP 637.

Trivia note: the new Korg Kaoss Multi-effects unit is called the KP3.

Hi Chris (and Steve!). As Richard doesn't seem to be available at the moment, I decided to have another look at what powers the admin software gave me. It would appear that I can add members to the list, and allow posting to areas that members may be restricted at the moment - ie. someone may be able to post to Sky, but not JW etc. I've put a post in "Anything Else" with an email address to contact me for a Username/Password combination. If you know of anyone else that's interested...

Steve, if you get in touch, we can sort something out.
