I hope that no-one will mind me posting this message.
I have just received an email, which I believe is 100% genuine, to say that Steve is gravely ill in a London hospital. It is requested that we all keep him in our prayers.
I hope that I am not breaking a confidence by posting this message, but I thought that all fans of his ought to know.
Let's all pray and keep our fingers crossed that he will pull through.

Sorry, maybe I should have added that Steve is on a life support machine and so things do sound serious.
I'm sure that we will all keep him (and his family) in our thoughts and pray for a full recovery. This is really upsetting news.
