Hi I just received new DVD (PAL) entitled Sky Where Opposites Meet Same track list as Bremen possibly samem show. Lists alol group sadly apart from Steve Gray includes biographies of all. Distributed through Alpha Cenrauri I get emails from USA Gary Davis aka http://www.artist-shop.com/news.htm quality much better than Bremen if the same. I'll email a few screenshots when off work tomorrow. Sky - Where Opposites Meet PAL/NTSC $14.95 Formed in 1979 by John Williams with Herbie Flowers (then with Blue Mink), keyboardist Francis Monkman (then working with Curved Air), drummer Tristan Fry, who was doing session work in addition to working as a percussionist with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Academy of St. Martin-In-The-Fields and Australian guitarist Kevin Peek, Sky successfully melded the worlds of classical music and rock instrumentals. Hewing to a formula that blended arrangements of classical pieces with new material by Monkman, Peek and Flowers, Sky was an immediate worldwide success, the first album showcased during their sell-out debut European tour achieved platinum sales in the UK, across Europe and Australia, securing a loyal fan-base that follows the band some 25 years later. |
