As there seems to be very little mention of sky on the internet, and as Richard Sliwa seems to have vanished into the ether, I've had a bash at writing a new sky article. It can be found here...

I'm not the best writer in the world, but hopefully not the worst either, and I've done my best to compress the whole story into one comprehensive article. Their story is a great one and deserves to be told. I've dedicated it to Steve Gray, as his passing has cast a very big shadow over things. |

Thanks for the comments on the article. Yes, it is indeed a shame that this particular site/forum seems to have ground to a halt. It used to be brilliant a few years ago. This was one of the reasons that I wrote the article, because I felt that certain aspects of the sky story needed to be updated - not least of all the tragic passing of Steve. I'm sure you'll be pleased to know that I have been in touch with Peter Lyster-Todd and he likes the article too!
All the best and let's hope that Richard Sliwa is still around somewhere... |
