OK I need some help please.

I got a mate to transfer Awakening onto CDR for me. It's been so long since I heard this album and man, it's fantastic.

Does anyone have his other albums (Guitar Junctions and Life & Other Games) on CDR.

I haven't got these on vinyl but would sure like a copy.
I'm sure we could make a trade.

Thanks in advance
Colin

How deep is your wallet? I don't have these myself but for "Life And Other Games" look at http://www.musicstack.com/listings.cgi?find=peek,kevin&t=life_and_other_games&me dia=All for Cd-r + Vinyl Combo. Prices are in dollars.

How good's your german? For "Guitar junction" look at Amazon.de. Prices are in euros.

Don't forget that you can re-sell them if you want to.

Does this qualify me for free copies?

Copies of all three did the rounds of the old forum a couple of years ago, courtesy of Harald and Mike B.

The German Guitar Junction CD, incidentally, isn't a straight transfer of the LP. There are (from memory; I'd need to get out of my chair to check) a couple of tracks missing, but a few more thrown in.

I might make a new CD-R of L&OG in due course, though (I recall that I had a couple of reservations about the previous edition).

How do these two albums compare to Awakening?

Well, Awakening and Life and other Games are much more similar then awakening and guitar junction.
If you enjoyed Awakening so much then Life and other Games is worth a try. I do have a CDR of the original album (as well as CDRs of other KP - though mostly library - albums). Just email me if you are still interested...

I'll admit to having bought both Awakening and Life and Other Games on LP when they first came out - 82, 83? I don't have them now, and seem to recall that I sold them at a record fayre many years ago. They were both pretty good, but I probably didn't like them as much as I did sky, so they eventually went. As I recall, Awakening was mainly original material (side two comprising a musical representation of a lengthy space journey) whilst Life and Other Games had a few cover versions on it - Hey Joe springs to mind. And that really is all I can remember about them, except that Awakening had a kind of pastel illustration on the cover and Life... had a strange distorted picture of KP on the front. Can't remember who else played on them, but have a feeling (maybe erroneous) that Trevor Spencer may have been on drums on one of them...

Hi, I'm new here and I have both 'Awakening' and 'Life and Other Games' on vinyl. 'Awakening', is my favourite album. I would love to be able to get them both on to CD, but I simply don't have the know-how. Can anyone help?

Incidentally 'Life and Other Games' was produced by Trevor Spencer. Alan Jones and Derek Austin helped Kevin out on bass, drums, percussion, piano, synths and guitars - according to the back of the record sleeve.
