| Strange when Amazon prices start at £5.48. Just as strange is the seller on Amazon advertising it at £19.99, with only a 79% customer rating :-( |

I suppose the only possible reason is that the seller states that it's an Italian pressing, with slightly different sleeve artwork. But if I was paying £21+ for a CD that I could buy elsewhere for a fiver, I'd want the artwork to be more than slightly different!
I notice that the same seller is selling the Pickwick edition of the first album and I think the bid currently stands at almost £18.00!!!
Me, I'm happy to have paid 99p for my French gatefold LP version of the first album. Even if I haven't actually got a record player to play it on!
The only things I'd pay high prices for now would be DVD or video recordings of the band live in 1980 and, maybe, the original studio recordings of the sky Five Live set - if they ever turn up. |

I suppose the attraction for this one might be the 'slightly different artwork compared to UK version' - as the seller is Dutch CD perhaps that's some (ahem) 'special features'...
The same seller has the 1993 UK CD of Sky One with bids currently at £17.80 (some of the same bidders!), and that has no mention of Chris's favourite gatefold.
I've never understood Amazon marketplace ratings which all seem consistently low. The lowest I've ever seen on eBay is 70% for the guy who ripped me and several others off ('no longer a registered user' as they say). |

I am not usually interested in memorabilia (apart from a rare Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers single and a George Harrison 3CD bootleg box set that I have).
I would therefore only buy a CD or LP if it had tracks that I didn't already possess (or had better sound quality).
If someone wants to pay over the odds for a CD that is easily available at a budget price... |

| A sellers marketplace rating can depend on the mood and IQ of the buyer as much as anything else. When I bought the Seville Concert DVD, I checked the sellers transactions and was amused to see a complaint that it was a bootleg. I've also seen a lazy postman putting half of his workload back into a postbox - a guaranteed minimum 24 hours delivery delay:-( |

The guy who ripped me off on eBay by never sending the item - he got positive feedback reading "HE LIED. THIEFT BY DESCEPTION... I GOT SCREWD" from another 'satisfied' customer. If that's positive feedback, I'd hate to get negative from that guy... Maybe what you say about feedback and IQ's right!

Chris - only worry if you're expecting a large parcel.
I think Tricky's point feedback and IQ is proven, though why you can't positive feedback greater than 100% from selling to high IQ buyers seems illogical... |
